Description
A rustic, intense whisky with a hint of smoke. Selected for the Swiss market, this Auchroisk comes from a single cask, the Oloroso quarter cask, which produced 124 bottles. This whisky was distilled in 2009 and bottled at cask strength, with its natural colour and without chill filtration in 2023.
Tasting notes by the bottler: A nose of plums, marzipan and toffee. The palate is fruity with notes of cherries, apples and dark chocolate. The finish is long, with lingering dark fruits.
