Description
This is the third annual edition of the distillery's 12-year-old cask strength whisky, matured in sherry casks. This whisky is normally only tasted on site during a visit of the cellars.
Distillery tasting notes: Floral and nutty on the nose, with notes of marzipan, almond cream and Morello cherries. On the palate, roasted nuts and spices lead the way, with cinnamon and cloves gradually giving way to softer notes of butterscotch, sultanas and a hint of coffee. The finish intensifies the cloves with hazelnuts and cocoa.
