Description
Perched 300 meters above the coast of South West Mauritius, the Rhumerie de Chamarel lies since 2008 in a fertile valley influenced by a unique micro-climate. This Chamarel, distilled in 2016, is a pure cane juice rum, aged in part on the island and dynamically matured in bourbon casks by Rhumhouse in Switzerland for bottling in 2023.
