This whisky was created in the north of Scotland in the county of Sutherland and although the name of the distillery is not disclosed, it can be assumed that it’s a Clynelish. This single malt was distilled in July 2010, matured in a sherry butt until September 2020, when it was bottled with its beautiful natural colour and without chill-filtration.
Tasting notes by the bottler:
On the nose there are lovely fruity aromas with hints of orange peel and candy. The palate is vibrant with cinnamon buns and icing sugar, butterscotch, marmelade and a touch of black coffee. A long and warming finish with some liquorice and dark chocolate.
