Not long ago, the Benrinnes distillery was one of the rare distilleries in Scotland to still produce its whisky by the process of triple distillation and this up to 2007. This was still the case for the elaboration of this Benrinnes distilled in 2002 and aged for 16 years in a Sherry Butt referenced HL15438. 270 bottles are produced from this unique cask, bottled in 2018 undiluted with its natural colour and without chill-filtration. A single malt that will particularly appeal to lovers of dry sherry.
