Description
From field to bottle is the motto of the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery founded in the north of England in 2016. A farm distillery that works exclusively with local barley produced in such a way as to preserve the soil as much as possible by limiting ploughing. This single malt is from the second batch of STR Finish. This whisky was first matured in first-fill bourbon casks before being matured in STR ex Rioja red wine casks.
Tasting notes by the Rêves de Whisky team: A pleasant whisky, dry and straightforward, with vinous notes followed by a light woodiness, berries, cinnamon and liquorice.
