After 150 years of disappearance, very close to the site of the old distillery and fed by the same source of water which bears the same name reappears the new distillery Wolfburn, the northernmost in the Highlands. After just 2 years of work, appears the first distillate in 2013 that you find in this bottle after 3 years of aging with different types of casks: 40% of quarter casks second filling, 40% of ex-bourbon cask of first filling and 20% of oloroso hogshead sherry casks of first filling. This blend of casks gives this whisky a nice freshness and a wild side. A single malt bottled with its natural colour and un-chillfiltered.
