The Loch Lomond distillery produces different types of whiskies, including the single malt Inchmurrin. It's a whisky with a sweet, floral and fruity character, inspired by the vegetation of the biggest island of the Loch Lomond, from which it also takes its name. Indeed, the sweetness on the palate is present with this whisky: vanilla and maple syrup, baked apples and juicy peaches with lemon zest, a light woody spiciness and a touch of leather. This single malt was distilled in August 2007 and aged in refill American oak casks before being matured for an extra 15 months in a hogshead ex-sauternes. It was bottled in March 2019 without reduction or chill-filtration and with its natural colour for an edition of 306 bottles.
