Description
This is a small batch released by the Teeling distillery in collaboration with the Belgian brewery Duvel. Grain whiskeys (75%) and malt whiskeys (25%) have been blended after maturing for up to 5 years in bourbon casks. This small batch was then matured for a further 12 months in Duvel Golden Ale beer casks. The result is a nose of orange, butterscotch and malt. On the palate, stewed pears, coriander and butterscotch coat the palate. On the finish, a few drops of lemon, allspice and cooked fruit.
