Description
Lochlea is a Lowlands farm distillery founded in 2018. They produce their own barley for the distillery and it is said that the poet Robert Burns worked on the farm for some years. To reflect the autumn season and its purple colours, this Lochlea 'Fallow Edition 2023' has been matured exclusively in oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry butts.
Tasting notes of the distillery: Rich honey notes on the nose. On the palate, a freshness of ground coffee beans and a sweetness of ginger candy. The finish is of medium length, with notes of crushed almonds.
