Description
Proposed by Meadowside Blending in The Maltman range, this 30-year-old 1992 vintage whisky is a blend of eight malt distilleries: Pittyvaich, Aberlour, Cardhu, Tomatin, Glenallachie, Aberfeldy, Bruichladdich and Caol Ila. These whiskies have been married and bottled without dilution, without chill filtration and with their natural colours for a limited edition of 549 bottles.
Tasting notes by the bottler: A very nice sherry aroma welcomes you to this dram, then walnut cake and a little vanilla comes through as well. The palate is warming and smooth with more sherry, sultanas, honey, and expect some cinnamon bun flavours as well. The finish is creamy with some apricot, dark chocolate and coffee.
