This whisky is a return to the style of some of the earliest Arran single malts, which were mostly matured in sherry casks. For this occasion, 250-litre hogshead sherry casks were selected for the maturation of this whisky in prestigious bodegas of Jerez in Spain. A whisky bottled at cask strength, non-chill filtered and with its natural colour.
Tasting notes of the distillery: On the nose, toffee, sweet spice and fruit. On the palate, ripe fig and cherries. The finish, dark chocolate, mandarins, ripe figs.
