A rich rum that really wakes you up and if you let it breathe a few minutes in the glass, it will reveal even more of the notes of exotic wood, spices and figs jam. The Depaz rums have all enjoyed the sun-drenched lands between sea and volcano, with soils rich in ash from Mount Pelée producing cane that offers a sugar content unrivalled anywhere in Martinique. Crushed immediately after harvest, these sugar canes combined with Mount Pelée spring water produces a juice of extraordinary freshness. Its long fermentation and all the Depaz know-how bring this exceptional agricultural rum to perfection. A rum distilled on 01.09.2004, aged for 13 years in a French oak barrel filled 1357 bottles on 21.02.2018 for a limited edition.
