Description
This Ultimatum is a blend of rums from Jamaica and Guyana that matured in bourbon barrels for 8 years. In November 2016, this rum was re-casked in a single sherry hogshead cask which had contained whisky from the Imperial ghost-distillery, for another 3 years of maturation. It was bottled in February 2020 for an edition of 385 bottles. It’s a creamy rum with notes of vanilla, crème brûlée and liquorice, and an industrial machinery and iron touch. Well, on these last points, probably only lovers of theses typically English style rums will understand me. Cheers!
