Founded in 1931 by Denis Barnard in the Mabouya Valley near Dennery in Saint Lucia, the Dennery distillery produced rum until 1972 when it merged with the Roseau Distillery to become the current St Lucia Distillers and the only rum distillery on the island. Named “1931”, this rum celebrates with this 4th edition 2014, 83 years of know-how. It is a blend of old rums from distillates of three pot-stills and one column-still. Each edition is different and will play on the blending elaborated by different types of stills, ages and barrels used (Bourbon and Port). A good nectar on notes of vanilla, coffee and a chocolate touch.
