Description
The source of Black Burn water that feeds the distillery was already famous in the 19th century when about fifty illicit stills were operating until 1823, date of the legalisation. It is only a year later, in 1824, that the Miltonduff distillery was founded. This single malt proposed by the bottler van Wees was distilled on 30 November 2009, matured in a single cask, a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel numbered 701741 and bottled on 7 October 2020 with its natural colour and without chill-filtration for a limited edition of 300 bottles.
