Description
Bottled in 2022, this single malt is the 19th edition of Alpstein from the Locher brewery-distillery in Appenzell. This 2200-bottle edition is a 7-year-old whisky aged in 60 to 100-litre beer casks, with a second maturation in sherry casks. A whisky with warm, spicy aromas of dried fruit, sherry, toasted nuts, spices and toffee.
