This whiskey commemorates the year 1792 when Kentucky became the 15th of the United States of America. Therefore, it is also the flagship of the Kentucky bourbon festival. It’s at the Barton distillery, founded in 1879 in the town of Bardstown in the heart of Kentucky, that it is made according to a well-guarded recipe which only reveals corn and rye in its composition. It is then aged in new oak barrels that are selected for a small batch.
