This straight bourbon whiskey from Heaven Hill Distillery in Kentucky is named after its father, Elijah Craig, a Baptist pastor and also, according to the legend, the inventor of aging in burnt new oak barrels. Resulting from a batch of about 70 new oak barrels, this 12 years whiskey gets very good expert ratings.
