Description
Peaty but not too much (35ppm), that is the elegance of this French whisky. it’s a whisky with a beautiful delicacy with notes of cereals and spices, a sweetness of a maritime peat and some notes of leather. Exhaltation is the first whisky of the Cortoisie brand proposed by Ôdevie Creative Spirit. This whisky was distilled in France, in Lorraine (we suppose Rozelieures) in double distillation with Charentais-type stills. It is lightly peated with peat from northern Germany and matured in 400-litre barrels made mainly of French oak from the Loire Valley (80%) of which one third are new barrels and the remain are new American oak barrels.
