Description
No one knows the depths and secrets of Loch Ardnahoe, the source of the water that feeds the distillery. After the Inaugural whisky, here's a new whisky for the Ardnahoe distillery, a 40ppm peated whisky aged in a combination of first-fill ex-Bourbon casks (85%) and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks (15%). A single malt bottled with its natural colour and without chill filtration.
Tasting notes by the Rêves de Whisky team: On the nose, dry Islay peat with grassy, minty notes and a vanilla sweetness in the background. On the palate, sour fruity candy with a hint of pepper and leather. The finish is lingering on dry peat, with a maritime touch.
