Description
This Benriach distilled in June 2006 is proposed by the bottler Hart Brothers. It’s a single malt aged for 11 years in a first-fill port pipe and bottled in June2017 at cask strength.
This well balanced and punchy whisky is best enjoyed as a digestif. We taste notes of raisins, spices and a slight oak wood which reminds us of the barrel impregnated with Port wine used for its maturation. The finish on the palate is not very long and goes towards floral notes.
