Description
This Bruichladdich matured in a hogshead sherry cask for 13 years. This unique cask, No 882, is proposed by the distillery in its Private Single Cask Bottling range. The whisky was distilled in August 2002 and bottled at cask strength in July 2016.
Tasting notes by the Rêves de Whisky team: On the nose, notes of red fruit, blackberries, spices and black pepper. On the palate, beyond the berries, beautiful floral notes are revealed. The finish is rather dry, with a slight woodiness and liquorice and a desire to come back to it with a few drops of water.
