Proposed by Meadowside Blending in The Maltman range, this 37-year-old whisky , vintage 1984 is a blend of ten malt distilleries including Mortlach, Balblair, Dufftown, Blair Athol, Fettercairn, Glen Spey, Glen Garioch, Linkwood, Strathmill, Auchroisk which compose this whisky for 65% and 35% of grain from Cameronbridge distillery. The whiskies have been married and matured in a single sherry cask. It is bottled at cask strength, unchill-filtered with its natural colour.
Tasting notes by the bottler: On the nose, sherry with dried fruit. The palate is creamy with dark chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and caramelised dates. A warming finish with cinnamon and juicy apricot.
