Description
Hazelburn represents the unpeated range of the Springbank distillery but also a unique style with triple distillation. For this limited edition 2023, this 21-year-old was matured in Bourbon (80%), Sherry (10%) and Port (10%) casks.
Tasting notes from the distillery: On the nose, notes of leather-bound books, bunghole and undergrowth are followed by a sweetness of treacle, caramel and blackberry. On the palate, notes of marshmallow and candyfloss with a syrupy feel and a subtle mineral and earthy note. On the finish, notes of cocoa powder, cappuccino and mint.
