Description
Since 1973 Longrow represents the peated whiskies of the Springbank distillery. With this 100 Proof, more powerful in strength, Longrow's characteristic peat smoke combines subtly with the work of the red wine casks. This whisky matured for almost 4 years in bourbon casks and over 2 years in pinot noir casks.
Tasting notes from the distillery: On the nose, medicinal notes and hints of redcurrants. On the palate, the peat smoke becomes softer and earthier, with notes of crème brûlée, vanilla and almonds. Notes of strawberry candy and marzipan take first place in the smoky finish.
