Longrow represents since 1973 the peated whiskies of the Springbank distillery. For this whisky, which is distilled twice, the malt is peat dried for 48 hours to give it the unique smoky character of the Campbeltown region. Less than 100 casks of Longrow are filled each year. As this whisky is not chill-filtered, a natural haze can form in cold weather, but it will disappear when the temperature rises again.
Tasting notes by the Rêves de Whisky team: On the nose, rich smoke and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, creamy with a spicy kick of black pepper and medicinal herbs. The finish remains on a soft a pleasant peat.
