Showcase of the Springbank distillery, this single malt is also typical of the Campbeltown area. At least 10 years old, this whisky is a combination of bourbon (60%) and sherry (40%) casks. It was bottled with its natural colour and without chill-filtration. This whisky is an excellent introduction to discover the taste of this region and the distillery.
Tasting notes of the distillery: On the nose: a vibrant cereal note introduces this Springbank, along with notes of gooseberries, mango, vanilla pods, grapes and honey. The fruit and cereal notes continue on the palate with hints of oats, malted barley and orange pulp. Notes of heather honey, hard toffee, nutmeg and cinnamon develop. A distinctive note of sea salt rounds off the finish.
