Description
Since 1973 Longrow represents the peated whiskies of the Springbank distillery, and for the Red editions, each year a different type of red wine cask is used to mature the whisky. For this annual edition, this Longrow was matured for 11 years in bourbon casks, then for 4 years in fresh pinot noir barrels from the Valli vineyards of the famous winemaker Grant Taylor, in Central Otago, New Zealand. This single malt was bottled at cask strength and without chill filtration in 2022.
