Description
The Ben Nevis distillery is located not far from the mountain of the same name (the highest point of Scotland with 1343 meters) which feeds the distillery's spring with its waters. Founded in 1825, throughout its history men have forged the character of this whisky, even reaching as far as Japan, where it has been in the hands of the Nikka group since 1989. Distilled in June 1998, this whisky matured for 15 years in a #590 ex-sherry cask and remained in the distillery's #3 cellar until it was bottled at cask strength in May 2014. A well-infused sherry style for an edition of 582 bottles.
