This Irish blend is produced at the Cooley distillery and aged in the warehouse of the Kilbeggan distillery, one of the oldest in Ireland, in ex-boubon casks for at least four years. An old fashioned whiskey in double distillation.
Tasting notes of the distillery:
On the nose: sweet caramel, vanilla and toasted wood aromas.
On the palate: soft almond nougat, peach, caramel and vanilla flavours before finishing quickly with soft, light malt sugar flavours.
The finish: dryness persists alongside with some genuine woody oak tones.
