Founded in 1779, Bowmore is the oldest distillery on the island of Islay and with its legendary warehouse, the No.1 Vaults where the casks rest patiently for a maturation while immersing themselves with the Islay sea air. It's the charm that we find in this 15 years. A whisky aged in bourbon casks that were finished for 3 years in Oloroso sherry casks.
Tasting notes of the distillery: On the nose, dark chocolate and sultana aromas complement the classic smoky character of Bowmore. On the palate, toffee, sherry and barley with spice and cedar wood.
