For this 10th edition of Black Art 2022, the Bruichladdich distillery proposes us a 29 years old single malt surrounded by a mystery as to its elaboration. It is up to you to judge this Art or simply to appreciate it as it should be for an old whisky.
Tasting notes of the distillery: A whisky that welcomes you warmly with notes of toasted oak, chocolate, cedar and leather on the nose. Then comes fruity notes of apricot jam, ripe melon, black cherry and blackcurrant, which are followed by sweet citrus and cereal notes, followed by ginger and nutty biscuit and marzipan with a hint of iodine, coconut and cinnamon. The finish is smooth with caramel, ripe fruit and a touch of tobacco and ginger.
