OUT OF STOCK FOR THE MOMENT
The Glasgow 1770 distillery takes its name from one of Glasgow's first distilleries, founded in 1770 and which disappeared over a hundred years ago. With this single malt, the distillery is proposing a small batch composed of three puncheon casks, a triple-distilled unpeated distillate elaborated in February 2018 that was matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks for 2 years and 10 months and then a further 2 years and 6 months in ex-French Cognac casks. The whisky was bottled in July 2023 with its natural colour and without chill filtration for an edition of 1576 bottles.
Tasting notes by the team at Rêves de Whisky & Friends: Floral sweetness with notes of vanilla, green apple and butter biscuit on a peppery nose. Medium length and a fine balance of alcohol and strength.
