Description
Founded in 2014, the Glasgow 1770 distillery takes its name from one of the first Glasgow distilleries founded in 1770 which disappeared over a hundred years ago. This whisky is an exclusive for Switzerland. A whisky distilled in 2018, matured in a first fill bourbon cask and then finished in an ex-Moscatel cask that gave 336 bottles. It is bottled in 2022 at cask strength, with its natural colour and without chill filtration.
Tasting notes of the distillery: Vanilla and poached pear with a note of oak and cinnamon.
