Description
Founded in 2014, the Glasgow 1770 distillery takes its name from one of the first Glasgow distilleries founded in 1770 which disappeared over a hundred years ago. This whisky is the distillery's starter, a fresh and fruity expression made with Concerto barley and aged in first-fill ex-bourbon casks then finished in virgin American oak barrels.
Tasting notes by the Rêves de Whisky team: On the nose, this whisky has a nice sweetness with notes of apple and pear. On the palate, it joins vanilla, heather honey and spices that pull on the finish.
