In 1946, Eric Arthur Blair, better known as George Orwell, disembarks on the isle of Jura in search of a quiet and inspiring place to write. And two years later is published his famous novel "1984". It could not be no other than a vintage 1984 to pay him tribute. A 30-year-old whisky matured in the best white oak casks for 22 years before spending another 8 years in specially selected Amoroso sherry casks. A limited edition of... 1984 bottles, bottled in 2014 without chill filtration.
