Fans of the Highland Park Distillery will recognise its style with this no-age-statement expression, made with a higher percentage of peated malt than the brand’s core 12-year-old bottling and matured in sherry seasoned oak casks. Its name is inspired by the legend of the Viking warrior Sigurd who after defeating the serpent dragon Fafnir, licked the Dragon's blood on his thumb and received powerful gifts of prophecy and wisdom and became one of the greatest heroes of the ancient Nordic sagas.
