Description
On the east coast of Skye is the small island of Raasay and its distillery of the same name. While waiting to see the first whiskies of this distillery on the market, they propose us this “While We Wait”. A glimpse of upcoming whiskies, or at least a trend. With this latest edition, Last Orders, the whisky is matured for five years in former bourbon casks and finished for 18 months in French oak barrels that have contained red wines from three Tuscan vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes.
