The small island of Marie Galante is located south of Guadeloupe to which it's administratively attached. It’s also known as the island of a hundred mills. These mills were used for the crushing of the sugar cane whose juice was used for instance in the development of rums. A rum proposed here by the Bielle distillery, aged 3 years and bottled at 41%, which will appeal to a wider public. An agricultural rum with a nice sweetness and a touch of spice and fruit.
