This rum is made in the highlands of Quetzaltenango at an altitude of 2300 meters in Guatemala, on a base of virgin sugar cane honey and then aged according to the Solera method which gives it an estimated age between 6 and 23 years. Bourbon and sherry casks are used for aging this rum with notes of caramel, raisins and cocoa. This rum is particularly appeals to lovers of sweet rums.
