Description
The Knockdhu distillery was founded in 1893 on the eastern edge of the Speyside region in the Highlands. In 1993, its whiskies were renamed AnCnoc in order to avoid confusion with those of its neighbour Knockando. This AnCnoc 12 year old is the showcase of the distillery, a smooth and light whisky with a nice complexity.
Tasting notes of the distillery: On the nose, soft and aromatic with honey and lemon in the foreground. On the palate, a sweet start with an appetising fruitiness and a long smooth finish.
