There are not many official bottlings from the Tormore distillery as much of its production goes into blends. In its traditional range, this 16 year old is the oldest proposed. This whisky was aged in American oak casks issued from the Batch B1409, bottled without chill-filtration in September 2014.
Tasting notes of the distillery: On the nose, deep and fruity with a tantalising layer of sweet orange and barley sugar. On the palate, juicy and sweet with bursts of ripe melon and pear. The finish is long and slightly dry.
