This straight rye whiskey was launched in 2012 to cover the demand for more spicy whiskey. Proposed by the Jim Beam distillery, this premium whiskey is a small batch from a dozen of barrels. It is named after the small stream that runs just south of the distillery and also near Abraham Lincoln's childhood home. The labeling also reminds of an old custom for packaging bottles with newspaper.
