Description
Located in the Lowlands, it's from the heart of Edinburgh that the distillery operates for the blends Cutty Sark, Famous Grouse but also Chivas Regal and J & B. Its cellars are about thirty kilometres to the south and it’s there that was selected this unique cask. A whisky distilled in March 2003 and matured for 18 years in a single refill butt. A single grain bottled in June 2021 with its natural colour and without chill filtration for an edition of 712 bottles.
Tasting notes by the Rêves de Whisky team: On the nose, caramel dominates and intermingles with peppery notes. On the palate, a caramel starter is joined by prune pie and ripe fruit compote with a light oaky finish and some sherry notes.
