More and more distilleries are moving back to the heart of the city, and this is the case of Teeling, which has been located in the centre of Dublin since 2015. Symbolized by a phoenix with a trendy spirit of renewal, it is historically a few blocks away from the very first distillery founded in 1782. Peated Irish whiskeys are also making a comeback and this Blackpitts is no exception. This cask strength edition is exclusive to Switzerland, a whiskey distilled in 2017 and aged for 6 years in a single ex-Pedro Ximénez cask. A dynamic single malt with notes of campfire, smoothed by hints of dried figs and plums.
