Description
It is in the archipelago of the Orkney Islands that is situated the Highland Park distillery, the northernmost of Scotland. From this latitude 58.9847°N, the difference is there! This batch 2020 of the wonderful slightly peated single malt is made with 120 ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks of 18 years or older whiskies.
Tasting notes of the distillery: Bursting overripe cherries, bitter dark chocolate, sweet marzipan, floral heather honey and aromatic peat smoke.
