Description
Some of the oldest writings on rum production can be found on the island of Barbados, and with over 300 years of history, the Mount Gay Distillery knows the ropes. This Mount Gay edition is a blend of rums distilled in a traditional column still aged for 5 years in Tawny Port casks and rums double distilled in a copper pot still aged for 14 years in American whiskey barrels. Both then spent one more year together in Tawny Port casks. This rum was bottled at cask strength, without chill-filtration and with its natural colour for a numbered edition of 6,570 bottles.
