The Invergordon Distillery was founded in 1959 and still in operation today. Unlike most grain distilleries that are situated in the Lowlands, Invergordon is located in the northern Highlands not far from Dalmore Distillery. The grain whisky that we propose is a vintage 1988. It is part of the range Sovereign and proposed in 2019 by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. This whisky was aged for 31 years in a refill hogshead and bottled unreduced. A limited edition of 399 bottles from a single cask.
Tasting notes by the Rêves de Whisky team: Green apple, vanilla and a spicy caramel.
