The Koval distillery was founded in 2008 in the city of Chicago, Illinois. Its water is sourced from the nearby Lake Michigan using a natural charcoal purification method. The distillery sources all its grains only from organic Midwestern farms and all enzymes and yeast used are also non-GMO. This whiskey is composed of 51% corn and, a special feature, of 49% millet. It is then aged in a 113 liter barrel, which is a little smaller than the standard normally used.
